United States Modified Touring Series – Gator Nationals Night #3 Finale
The United States Modified Touring Series returned to Volusia Speedway Park Wednesday night for Night #3 and the final night of the Simfans Gator Nationals, and the finale delivered a thrilling finish to an exciting three-night event.
A strong field of 16 Dirt UMP Modifieds signed in for qualifying as drivers looked to close out the week with a big win and the coveted Gator Nationals Championship.
When qualifying wrapped up, Landon Moody laid down a blistering lap of 16.743 seconds to capture Quick Time, putting himself in prime position heading into the heat races.

With the heat races complete, the field rolled onto the speedway for the 40-lap Gator Nationals A-Main. Landon Moody and Timothy Measamer brought the field to the green flag and thundered into turn one to begin the final showdown of the week.
Moody quickly took command of the race, grabbing the lead coming off turn two and setting a strong pace out front. For the first half of the event, Moody looked nearly untouchable as he controlled the race and led the opening 18 laps.
However, the momentum of the night shifted when Barrett Bishop made his move for the lead. Once Bishop took over the top spot, he never looked back. With a dominant charge through the second half of the race, Bishop drove away from the field and swept the entire Gator Nationals week, becoming the first driver in Simfans history to ever sweep the Gator Nationals.
With the victory, Barrett Bishop not only captured the win but also secured the Gator Nationals Championship.

United States Modified Touring Series – Gator Nationals Night #2
The United States Modified Touring Series rolled back into Volusia Speedway Park Tuesday night for Night #2 of the Simfans Gator Nationals, and the racing action did not disappoint. A strong field of 20 Dirt UMP Modifieds signed in for qualifying, making it one of the biggest car counts the USMTS has seen in recent events.
When it came time to qualify, Timothy Measamer laid down a blistering lap of 16.911 seconds to earn Quick Time and set himself up as the early favorite for the night.

With the heats complete, the field lined up for the 30-lap Gator Nationals A-Main. Timothy Measamer and Shane James brought the field to the green flag and thundered into turn one to begin what would become an intense battle throughout the pack.
Measamer jumped out to the early lead coming off turn two, but the competition stayed right on his bumper. The racing was tight all across the track with multiple drivers battling hard for position, especially up front. Landon Moody made a strong run to the front and briefly grabbed the lead, pacing the field for five laps before Measamer was able to fight back and reclaim the top spot.
Just when it looked like Measamer might drive away, Barrett Bishop began making a charge through the field. Starting 8th, Bishop methodically picked off cars one by one. With about five laps to go, Bishop made his move for the lead and never looked back.
Barrett Bishop would drive away to score his second straight Gator Nationals victory, making it back-to-back wins to start the week at Volusia.

Barrett Bishop wins Season Opener
Monday, March 16th – Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, FL) – The United States Modified Touring Series kicked off their season opener at the legendary Volusia Speedway Park for Night #1 of the Gator Nationals, and the racing did not disappoint.
A solid field of 12 Dirt UMP Modifieds signed in to take time for the opening night of the three-night event. When qualifying wrapped up, it was Timothy Measamer laying down a blazing lap of 15.831 seconds, setting Quick Time and establishing a brand new track record to start the night.
Two 8-lap Heat Races set the stage for the main event.

With the heats complete, the field lined up for the 30-lap A-Main Feature to officially open the 2026 Gator Nationals.
Leading the field to the green flag were Curtis Bishop and Barrett Bishop, bringing the pack down into Turn 1. Curtis Bishop would grab the early advantage coming off Turn 2 and began setting the pace up front. Behind the Bishop brothers, the battle for position was intense as drivers fought for every inch of racing room around the fast Volusia clay.
Curtis Bishop held strong out front for much of the race, but as the laps wound down the pressure began to build. With about five laps remaining, Barrett Bishop made his move, diving to the low side and making the pass for the lead.
Once out front, Barrett Bishop never looked back. He would pull away in the closing laps and go on to capture the Gator Nationals Night #1 Season Opener, picking up his 22nd career Simfans victory.
