Barrett Bishop & Landon Moody both wins Twin 50’s

Thursday, June 18th – Slinger Speedway (Slinger, WI) – All-Star Late Model Stocks North Series packed up and headed to Slinger Speedway for our Slinger Nationals Twin 50’s, We had 8 Late Models show up to take time. Timothy Measamer would set quick time. We inverted Top 4 for our 1st Twin 50 lapper. Barrett Bishop & Kenny Storkson would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1. Barrett Bishop would have the lead coming off of turn 2 as Landon Moody would be in 2nd right on Barrett Bishops back bumper but around halfway Barrett Bishop would pull away and go on to win the 1st Twin 50 lapper. We inverted Top 4 for our 2nd 50 lapper. Timothy Measamer & Kenny Storkson would lead the field to the green flag and into turn 1. Timothy Measamer would have the lead coming off of turn and would lead 17 laps & Landon Moody would lead 8 laps then we saw Barrett Bishop take over the lead and didnt look back and go on to win the 2nd 50 lapper but Barrett Bishop did not take a penalty earlier in the race when Barrett Spun Kenny Storkson so YES a Penalty will be issued docking Barrett Bishop 2 spots and handing the win over to Landon Moody. Barrett Bishop wins Johnny Appleseed Classic

**Wednesday, June 17th – Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, OH)** – The NDRL Super Late Models Summer Series rolled into the legendary Eldora Speedway for the **Johnny Appleseed Classic**. Nine Super Late Models signed in for the evening, with **Clifford Driskel** laying down a blistering lap to earn Quick Time honors.

The night began with two 8-lap heat races. **Clifford Driskel** captured the victory in Heat #1, while **Barrett Bishop** claimed Heat #2, setting up an exciting front-row showdown for the 40-lap feature.

As the green flag waved, Driskel powered to the lead entering Turn 1 and maintained the top spot through the opening laps. Barrett Bishop stayed glued to Driskel’s rear bumper, applying relentless pressure for more than half the race. On Lap 22, Driskel made a small mistake that opened the door for Bishop to take over the lead.

Driskel refused to give up and mounted several charges over the closing laps, but Bishop was able to withstand every challenge and drive away with another impressive NDRL Super Late Models Summer Series victory at Eldora Speedway.
